-Slots deglaze brake pads improving efficiency and rotor scoring and help dissipate water as well as dust and dirt

-Slotting helps against "Out-gassing" gas from pad bonding agents causing a cushion between pad and rotor

-D1Racing Slotted rotors are cnc milled and do not go all the way to the edge unlike other slotted rotor brands. Going all the way to the edge promotes cracking
